Medical Recruitment Process
We follow a thorough locum recruitment process ensuring that you as the client get the best medical locums. Medical locums – initial applications
Each candidate submits a registration form which should include their career history. Any gaps in the employment history must be explained and motivated.
Proof of registration
When the candidates register through us, they must also provide proof of registration with the HPCSA and all relevant professional bodies. This must also include proof of Medical Protection Insurance. These can both be sent via email to us.
Verification of HPCSA registration and Medical Protection Insurance
We verify the HPCSA registration and Medical Protection Insurance of the medical locums that apply to provide locum services through us. The verification is done at the specific institution.
Reference checking
We require professional references of the current and previous employers. We occassionally verify the references at the source.
Placement & Feedback
Once medical locums are placed at the appropriate clients, follow-up reporting will be done. Your feedback is required ensuring that the performance of the specific medical locum can be monitored and recorded.
Payroll
We set up the payroll system and require work period time sheets to be completed by the medical locums. The time sheets must be authorised by the relevant manager. We ensure full compliance with all payroll regulations as part of our locum recruitment services. FindMed and Giving Health (PTY) Ltd will change a fee of ten percent on the hourly rate, for every hour of work conducted. Payment must be made by the Employer into the account of Giving Health (PTY) Ltd. Payment will then be done on a weekly basis directly into the account of the doctor.
