According to foreign media reports, the latest data published by Research institutions ChangeWave Research displayed, in the past few months, the Android mobile phone users rise sharply, and users’ attitudes to the Android also has positive changes.

ChangeWave Research’s survey data presented, by December 2009, there is 4% smart phone users using Android operating system which has increased by 200% than September.

The research institution also made a survey that users’ potential purchasing plan of smart phones. Among the interviewees who plan to buy smart phones within the coming 90 days, 21% users said they will choose Android phones. The ratio is also 6% higher than September. In September, Android and Palm are the two most unpopular smartphone operating systems. But currently, Android has rise to the second in the same rank.

The growth of Android users influences iPhone to some degree. Despite iPhone is still the most popular smart phone. Nevertheless, the interviewees who wished to buy iPhone have decreases to 28% from 32%. But, the market share still increases 1% to 31%. The market share of RIM and Palm are respectively 39% and 6%.

Despite the Android mobile presents fast development trend, the sales of Google’s first own brand Android phone Nexus One didn’t achieve the expected situation. In the first selling week, Nexus One only sold 20 thousand. Therefore, despite users accept Android gradually, there is still a long way to chase iPhone 3GS.
